Andrew King, a Seafood CRC PhD student was awarded a research travel grant to attend an intensive course on the economics of aquaculture held at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom in April 2012. The course was given by two of the world's leading experts, and was of direct relevance to the student's PhD - the assessment of the options for expansion of salmonid aquaculture within Tasmania.
